The normal lead time, for embedded controllers and peripheral boards that we do not carry in stock, is usually 8 weeks. Within one week of receiving your order, if the board is not in stock, we will contact you to give you a more accurate lead time on your specific product.
Given the current state of the electronic supply chain, customers can expect long lead times on some specific embedded controllers or peripheral boards that we do not carry as stock items. Every part has a different lead time and lead times tend to fluctuate frequently. Parts availability cannot be guaranteed for short time frame needs. It is best to plan as far in advance as possible and at times, it may be best to order an extra part to have on hand. On some components used on custom boards we have been quoted as long as two years. There are situations when creating a new replacement board is easier and faster than ordering a direct replacement. If you have questions about a board’s availability, contact us before a failure occurs whenever possible.
